A: What is causing them to happen is underwater earthquakes & volcanic eruptions which causes the water to become unstable and go up and collect water to eventually become a huge wave.

A:The one I'm doing my report on is the one that happened in Indonesia, called the Indian Ocean Tsunami. It happened on December 26, 2004
Where: Where are the tsunamis happening mostly?
A: They are happening mostly around the coast of the pacific ocean, which is called the ring of fire. This is where most earthquakes, volcanoes, and tsunamis happen.
